Objectives of the Saudi Economics Association
The
Saudi Economics Society aims to pioneer education and spread economic awareness in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In doing so, it aims to:
- Building a conscious society that is able to participate and make effective decisions to keep pace with economic changes and challenges and exploit opportunities.
- Developing economic thought and creating a reference for local economic thought that is open to the world.
- Developing the scientific and professional performance of the society’s members and achieving scientific communication among them.
- Providing specialized scientific advice in the economic field to the concerned authorities in the public and private sectors.
Services of the Saudi Economics Association
The
Saudi Economics Society seeks to facilitate the exchange of scientific production and scientific ideas in the economic field among individuals, organizations, and concerned institutions. The Society holds courses, lectures,
various cultural and awareness-raising activities, and forums where specialists, experts, and scholars meet. It provides a number of services to this end:
- Facilitating the exchange of scientific production and scientific ideas in the field of the Society’s interests between the concerned bodies and institutions inside and outside the Kingdom.
- Providing a scientific forum to discuss economic issues.
- Representing Saudi economists in Arab and international forums.
- Establishing links with Arab and international scientific economic societies and organizations.
