International Association of Administrative Professionals

The International Association of Administrative Professionals, or IAAP, is a nonprofit professional association that serves the administrative profession and advances the careers of administrative leaders and practitioners.

About the International Association of Administrative Professionals

The International Association of Administrative Professional swas formed in the U.S. state of Missouri in 1942. At that time, the association was known as the National Secretaries Association. Its name was changed in 1982 to the International Professional Secretariat. In 1998, it became the International Association of Administrative Professionals.

Objectives of the International Association of Administrative Professionals

The International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) adopts the industry standard for assessing administrative professionalism:
  • Increase the number of schools enrolled in the Professional Development Program.
  • Increase the number of authorized officials.
  • Establishing relationships with large employers to promote the industry standard of employment and integration into professional development.
  • Preparing officials and stakeholders. Promote the value of responsibility.
  • Developing the role of the trading partner.

Services of the International Association of Administrative Professionals
